Plants are grown on and acclimatised before release. Each listing explains the size offered, and we keep a record of the plant’s source.
Growing on now. Use the restock alert to hear when rooted plants are ready.
‘Black Nape’ is a Thai selection with leaves that can move through dark olive, green and bronze-gold as they develop. The markings are irregular, so each new leaf may show a different balance of colour.
We are growing and recording this cultivar in Worcestershire before making firm claims about its mature habit. It needs the same basics as the rest of the collection: warmth, bright light, rich feeding and consistently moist roots.

| Growth habit | Under observation |
| Winter | Keep frost free; growth may slow or become dormant in cool conditions |

| Safety | Ornamental only; harmful if eaten and sap may irritate skin |
