Some plants are propagated and grown by us from established mother stock.
We may also offer selected plants sourced from specialist growers where they complement our nursery range. Product pages will make this clear.
Our collection includes plants propagated in the UK alongside carefully selected material from specialist growers overseas.
We focus on cultivars that are interesting, well grown and worth making available to UK collectors.
Plants are living things and naturally vary in size, shape and colour.
For standard nursery stock, photographs are representative.
For selected rare or highly variegated plants, we may list individual numbered specimens so you can choose the exact plant you are buying.
We would rather grow plants properly than rush them to sale.
Some cultivars are maintained as mother stock and released only when propagation has produced strong, established plants.
You can register your interest on selected listings to hear when they become available.
Yes.
Some rare or slow-producing cultivars may be released in small batches.
Where appropriate, individual plants may be photographed and numbered as part of a particular nursery release.
Usually, yes, if the cultivar remains part of our collection.
Restock timing depends on growth rate, propagation method and the health of the mother plants, so some cultivars may take longer than others.
Plants are packed carefully to reduce movement, protect foliage and keep the root system secure during transit.
Packaging may vary depending on the size and growth habit of the plant.
Usually not immediately.
Allow the plant time to settle into its new environment before making major changes unless there is a clear reason to repot.
Sometimes.
Minor drooping or leaf movement can happen after being boxed and transported.
Give the plant suitable light, warmth and water and allow it time to adjust.
Contact us as soon as possible after delivery and include clear photographs of the plant and packaging.
We will assess the problem and work with you to find an appropriate solution.
Absolutely.
If you are having trouble with a plant, send us the cultivar name, a description of the growing conditions and photographs where possible.
Not currently as a standard service, but we are happy to hear from nurseries, garden centres and other horticultural businesses interested in future supply.
