About Fullness of Time
Fullness of Time is a specialist Colocasia nursery founded by Richard Ridgway. We bring together extraordinary cultivars chosen for their colour, pattern, texture and form, alongside better semi-hydroponic growing systems for tropical plants.
Every leaf has a character of its own
Some emerge almost black. Others unfurl marbled, veined, speckled or washed with colour. Their leaves can be velvety, metallic, architectural or almost otherworldly.
We seek out the most distinctive Colocasia we can find and bring them together in one collection, giving UK plant lovers access to cultivars they may never have encountered before.
How we work
Our collection is built cultivar by cultivar. We keep source records, use recognised cultivar names wherever the evidence allows and describe sale sizes plainly. A mature reference photograph is never presented as though it were the starter plant arriving in the box.
Plants sourced overseas are rooted, established and acclimatised to UK growing conditions before release. We offer them in small batches when they are ready, not simply when a date arrives.
Our growers and suppliers
Our collection includes selected Thai cultivars purchased directly from TK at Thai Fusion Botanica, a specialist nursery with extensive experience growing and exporting Colocasia.
These plants are established and grown on before release. Their source is recorded, and we clearly distinguish plants sourced from specialist growers from those propagated by Fullness of Time.
Better ways to grow
Fullness of Time is developing planters, supports and practical semi-hydroponic systems specifically for tropical plants. Each design begins with the needs of the plant: dependable access to water, healthy roots, stability and a form worth living with.
New products will be released only when they have been properly tested and genuinely improve on what is already available.
In the fullness of time, everything grows.
