‘Black Magic’ is a classic dark elephant ear, grown for broad leaves that mature from deep green to smoky purple-black. The matt to softly satin finish gives the foliage depth while keeping the leaf structure visible.
It is an established garden cultivar and one of the easiest dark Colocasia to place in a mixed planting. Strong light helps the colour deepen, provided new leaves are introduced to direct sun gradually.

| Winter | Keep frost free; growth may slow or become dormant in cool conditions |
| Provenance | Specialist nursery stock from Thailand |
| Safety | Ornamental only; harmful if eaten and sap may irritate skin |
